Аннотація: The article analyzes the scientific positions on the development of e-government in the context of digitalization. It is argued that e-government is an important factor in the activities of the modern state and increasingly absorbs into people`s lives. Based on the analysis of theoretical approaches to understanding the concept of "e-government", it is determined that e-government is a form of public administration that promotes openness, efficiency and transparency of both public authorities and local governments through the use of information telecommunication technologies aimed at meeting the needs of citizens. Attention is paid to the essence of digitalization as a driving force of innovation management. It is concluded that e-government in digitalization provides an opportunity to change approaches to the nature of public authorities, make their activities more transparent and public, and proposed a number of measures to develop e-government in digitalization.
